The Sony PD-8006/AC 6-port High Power over Ethernet Midspan is a six-port power-over-Ethernet midspan that provides power as well as data over Ethernet cabling. 802.3af compliant, the PD-8006/AC powers virtually any power-over-Ethernet ready device, and all major LAN and Bluetooth access points, network cameras, and IP phones on the market. This system not only saves you the cost and hassle of running outlets to your devices, but also features identification of faulty devices and safe shut-down to protect device and infrastructure. The PD-60012/AC guarantees continuous operation of WAN APs and security cameras. This unit is wall and shelf mountable, and provides economical, safe remote power at up to 39-watts per device for scattered topology devices and lower-density installations. Multi-voltage compatible, the PD-8006/AC runs on 90 to 264-volts of AC, and exchanges data at standard 10/100 MB per second. With shielded RJ-45 connectors built-in and support for up to six external devices, this system has an operating temperature of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and measures 4.17 x 5.5 x 1.75 inches (W x D x H) in dimension.
